Back to Football is a nation-wide celebration that unites fans of all 32 teams to welcome back the NFL football season. Schools can show their Rams pride and register to win a $10,000 PLAY 60 grant and a Rams celebration through the NFL’s Back to Football PLAY 60 Super School program.
Students, teachers and school administrators are encouraged to wear their favorite NFL team gear and show their NFL team spirit and commitment to health by organizing Back to Football celebrations at their school for the chance to be named the St. Louis Rams Super School. The Super School winner will win a $10,000 NFL Play 60 health and wellness grant and a visit from a Rams player, Rams cheerleaders and team mascot, Rampage.
Schools are encouraged to celebrate Back to Football on Friday, September 6, 2013. But celebrations can take place anytime between August 1, 2013 and September 13, 2013.
For interested schools:
Students, teachers, PTO/PTA leaders and school administrators can log-on to and register their school for a chance to win a $10,000 NFL PLAY 60 youth health and wellness grant and a Rams team celebration. Schools will be asked to display their NFL spirit, along with great health and wellness habits by completing three essays and submitting photos of their in-school Back to Football celebration. We encourage celebrations to occur the Friday before the first weekend of the 2013 NFL regular season, Friday, September 6, 2013.
Schools who register to participate in Back to Football prior to Friday, August 17, 2013 will be entered to win a visit to their school by the St. Louis Rams mascot, Rampage. For those that still take advantage of early registration and sign-up to participate in Back to Football prior to Friday, August 23, 2013 will be entered to win tickets for one classroom to watch the St. Louis Rams take on the New Orleans Saints at the Edward Jones Dome on December 15, 2013. Additionally, all teachers who enter the contest will be entered to win two pre-game field passes and tickets to the Saints game.
Registering for the contest:
Schools are permitted to enter multiple classrooms by using different teacher/school administrator email addresses for each entry. School-wide celebrations are encouraged but not a mandatory part of the contest. Individual classrooms or grade-levels can hold Back to Football celebrations on their own. Parents and students cannot enter their school for the contest, however, the contest website allows them to log-on and notify their teacher or child’s teacher via email that they want their school to participate.
Between now and September 13, 2013, teachers/school administrators can log-on to and register their class or school by filling out the required contact information. Once registration is complete, teachers/school administrators can return at any time before the competition closes to submit their essays and upload photo(s) or video.
Entrants have the option of uploading up to three (3) digital photos OR one (1) video, thirty (30) seconds or less in length, showing how his/her school is celebrating the return of football and displaying NFL-team pride. Submission of photo(s) or video is optional and will not increase your chances of winning as such components will not be included in the judging to determine the winners. Submitted photos and videos must abide by the Submission Details outlined below. Entrants are responsible for obtaining permission from the parents or legal guardians of any students appearing in a photo or video or identifiable in any answer to a question.
Registration Period:
The Promotion Period begins at 12:00:00 p.m. (noon) Eastern Time ("ET") on 8/1/13 and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. ET on 9/13/13 (hereafter, "Promotion Period").
