To help kick off the preseason , a group of Charter season ticket holders welcomed the St. Louis Rams back to the Edward Jones Dome and had a close-up view of the opening ceremonies before the preseason game against the Green Bay Packers.
As part of the NFL’s Thank You Fans initiative, each Rams player met with a fan midfield before the game and presented him or her with a Rams jersey. Each jersey featured a number one in recognition of the loyalty and passion of the Charter season ticket holders who have been with the team since 1995.
Prior to the presentation, the Charter season ticket holders were able to view pregame warm-ups from the sideline and watch as the team made their first tunnel entrance for the 2013 season. Forty-five Charter season ticket holders were invited to participate and were each allowed to bring one guest with them onto the field.
"We’re grateful for our passionate fans and providing this unique experience allows us an opportunity to further enhance the relationship by recognizing some of our most loyal season ticket holders," said Matt Cady, director of customer relations and retention, St. Louis Rams.
The Rams preseason game on August 17 was the most attended pre-season game in seven years, which speaks to the excitement around the 2013 team. The next home pre-season game is August 29 against the defending Super Bowl champion, Baltimore Ravens.
