The St. Louis Rams wrap up their preseason slate as they host the defending Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens Thursday evening at the Edward Jones Dome.

Thursday’s game marks the second-consecutive season and third time in four years that the Ravens have visited St. Louis in Week 4 of the preseason. The Rams and Ravens also played in Week 3 of the 2011 regular season, meaning this week’s game markes the fourth-straight year that Baltimore has played at the Edward Jones Dome. The Ravens have a 3-2 lead in the all-time regular season series while the Rams have won all three previous preseason meetings.

The preseason finale will be a special one for Rams rookie WR/PR Tavon Austin. St. Louis’ top overall pick in April’s draft, Austin is a Baltimore native. He and fellow first-round pick LB Alec Ogletree both made key plays last week in Denver. Austin returned a punt 81 yards to set up a Rams touchdowns, while Ogletree forced a fumble that he recovered and returned for a score and also intercepted Peyton Manning to end a Denver scoring threat.
