Game Preview: Rams Continue Divisional Play at Arizona

Posted Dec 5, 2013

For a second-consecutive week, the St. Louis Rams will hit the road to face a divisional opponent as they travel to Arizona to take on the Cardinals.

The Rams have won their last three meetings against the Cardinals, including a 27-24 victory earlier this year in Week 1 at the Edward Jones Dome. St. Louis holds a 36-33-2 advantage in the all-time series. The Rams also won in their last visit to Phoenix, a 31-17 contest in which CB Janoris Jenkins returned two interceptions for touchdowns.

The Rams are a much different team than the one Arizona faced in Week 1. QB Kellen Clemens will make his sixth start of the season in place of the injured Sam Bradford. Clemens has thrown for 1,019 yards with five touchdowns on the year. Also in the St. Louis backfield will be RB Zac Stacy, who took over the starting job in Week 5 and has rushed for 692 yards in the last eight games, fifth most among all NFL running backs during that span.
