Game Preview: Rams Visit Houston in Week 6

The St. Louis Rams seek a second-consecutive win over an AFC South opponent as they travel to Houston to face the Texans in Week 6.

The Rams are in a stretch in which they’ll play the four AFC South members in a six-week stretch. The run started with last week’s win over the Jacksonville Jaguars. Sunday’s game is just the third all-time meeting between the Rams and Texans, who joined the NFL in 2002. The visiting team won each of the first two meetings, the last of which was a 16-13 Texans victory at the Edward Jones Dome in 2009.

Last week, the Rams forced three turnovers and got three touchdown passes from QB Sam Bradford, two of which were caught by Austin Pettis, to fuel their 34-20 win over the Jaguars. Rookie RB Zac Stacy made his first NFL start and rushed for 78 yards on just 14 carries to pace a 143-yard rushing effort by St. Louis.
