BRADFORD BACK IN ACTION
Quarterback
Bradford is unsure how many snaps he will take on Saturday, but his plans are very straightforward.
“I just want to see an efficient operation out there,” Bradford stated. “No pre-snap penalties, getting us in and out of the right plays, pushing the ball down the field.”
It’s worth noting Bradford has participated in full during each training camp session thus far and expressed complete confidence in his knee heading into game action.
LEFTOVERS
- Veteran right tackle
“That was a frustrated veteran and a frustrated rookie at that point and they’re probably both tired,” Rams head coach Jeff Fisher said after practice.
“We just have to get him the ball in space, because we all know what he can do with it,” Fisher said. “We’re doing some different things, [but we] probably won’t show a whole lot in the preseason.”
- Bradford also noted significant improvement from third-year wideouts
“It’s night and day with Quickie,” Bradford commented. “He’s always been tremendously talented, but we’re starting to see him put everything together. I think he’s had a great, great training camp, even going back to OTAs and looking at some of the plays he’s made.
“[Givens] is still that guy who can take the top off the defense and create explosive plays for us,” Bradford added. “I think he’s going to be a big part of what we’re doing down the field in the vertical passing game and I would expect him to make a lot of big plays for us.”
