Los Angeles added a piece to its secondary by signing former Tennessee CB Coty Sensabaugh

Los Angeles has added a piece to its secondary, signing cornerback Coty Sensabaugh to a three-year deal.

Originally a fourth-round pick of the Titans in 2012, Sensabaugh started 27 games for Tennessee in the first four years of his career, including 15 last season. The cornerback made two interceptions in 2015, returning one of them for a touchdown, and registered eight passes defensed.

Sensabaugh also does have some familiarity with Los Angeles’ coaching staff, as defensive coordinator Gregg Williams served as Tennessee’s senior defensive assistant in 2013. In that season, Sensabaugh served as the Titans’ nickel corner, recording 37 tackles and six passes defensed in 14 contests.

Listed at 5-foot-11 and 187 pounds, Sensabaugh joins a group of cornerbacks that includes Trumaine Johnson, Lamarcus Joyner, Marcus Roberson, and E.J. Gaines, who will be returning from a season-ending foot injury suffered at the beginning of 2015 training camp.
