Recently, Centene Corporation and Nestle Purina Pet Care both partnered with the Rams to rally their employees around the 2013 United Way campaign of $72.25 million.  To garner excitement and support for the campaign, both companies held United Way Kickoff events for their employees, where special appearances were made by Rams fan favorites.

Centene held a pancake breakfast where CEO Michael Niedorff flipped pancakes for employees alongside Rams quarterback Sam Bradford, as well as Rams cheerleaders and Rampage.  Purina’s kickoff event was also attended by the cheerleaders and Rampage.

The St. Louis Rams, in partnership with team sponsors Edward Jones, Charter and Famous Footwear/Brown Shoe Company, recently hosted the fourth annual Kickoff for Charity Luncheon to benefit the United Way of Greater St. Louis where campaign co-chairs Ron Fromm, chairman of the Brown Shoe Company, and his wife Cheri announced the 2013 campaign goal of $72.25 million. Representing the Rams at the event was head coach Jeff Fisher, general manager Les Snead, chief operating officer Kevin Demoff and the entire 2013 Rams roster.
