St. Louis Rams And Boeing Announce Partnership With Uso To Provide 1,500 Tickets To Military Members

Posted Oct 17, 2013

ST. LOUIS – Boeing is partnering with the St. Louis Rams and the USO of Missouri to give away 1,500 tickets to the Rams’ military appreciation game versus the Tennessee Titans on November 3. The tickets will go towards military members and their families.

The Rams and Boeing are also making another allotment of tickets available to military members and their families as well as veterans at a discounted price for the November 3 game.  To purchase tickets, military members can visit

In addition, Boeing and the USO are proud to announce the launch of the Home&Away Campaign in St. Louis – an effort to salute the military and veterans for their service and ongoing contributions, which has proved to be very successful in Chicago. Please join Boeing and the USO of Missouri and show your support to those who serve. Upload your salute at

“Boeing is dedicated to supporting the men and women of the military and the veterans who have sacrificed so much towards protecting our freedom,” said Jeff Wieringa, vice president of engineering for Boeing’s Global Services & Support business unit. “Partnering with the Rams and the USO on these worthwhile endeavors is just one small way for us to say thank you.”

The announcement was made during Rams head coach Jeff Fisher’s press conference today. Coach Fisher has a long commitment to the military and in 2009 he participated in a USO Tour to visit the troops in the Persian Gulf.  In 2011, Coach Fisher climbed Mt.  Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, Africa to raise funds and awareness for the Wounded Warrior Project, a nonprofit organization whose mission is to honor and empower injured service members.

Since coming to St. Louis, Coach Fisher has become a leading force in the Rams military efforts.  The Rams honor a Wounded Warrior on the field of the Edward Jones Dome during each home game and Coach Fisher invites each honoree to the team walk through the day before the game, so he can personally thank them for their service to our country.

During the preseason, for the second consecutive year, Coach Fisher took the entire Rams team to Scott Air Force Base for a team walk through and allowed airmen to serve as the scout team for offense, defense and special teams.

The partnership with Boeing is another extension of the Rams recognition of the nation’s military and veterans.

“We are pleased to join forces with Boeing and the USO to show our gratitude and appreciation for the men and women who serve our country,” said Fisher. “During the team walk through at Scott Air Force Base earlier this season, I told the airmen that we defend the goal line on Sundays; they defend our country every single day and for that we are eternally grateful.  Our hope is that these tickets will allow military members and their families an opportunity to experience one of the many freedoms made possible by their service.”
