ST. LOUIS – Leading up to the Jeff Fisher Mustache giveaway on Sunday, Sept. 16 against the Washington Redskins, the St. Louis Rams have partnered with Movement Strategy to create “The St. Louis Rams Fisher Stache” mobile application for both Apple and Android devices.
Fans can use the application to take a picture and apply a digital mustache before customizing the size, angle and positioning to make the photograph appear as authentic as possible. Users are then encouraged to upload their pictures to Facebook and Twitter with the #FisherStache hashtag. The Rams will encourage fans to create themed #FisherStache photos each day leading up to the game via the @stlouisrams Twitter account.
All fans in attendance for the home opener will get their very own Fisher Stache and are encouraged to wear their mustaches throughout the first quarter of the Sept. 16 game in an attempt to break the previous Guinness World Record of 250 for the “largest gathering of people wearing false mustaches.”
The Rams have partnered with Panofan to capture a panoramic image of the crowd during the first quarter, which will be made available to fans the following day. Fans will be able to access the interactive picture on stlouisrams.com and facebook.com/rams and tag themselves wearing their mustache.
