St. Louis Rams and Josh Hull Tee Up For Basket of Hope

Posted Oct 5, 2012

For the sixth consecutive year, the St. Louis Rams will assist with the Basket of Hope Golf Tournament scheduled for Tuesday, October 16 at the Whitmoor Country Club in St. Charles.

This year, Rams linebacker Josh Hull will not only be serving as the chair of the event, but also as the ambassador for Basket of Hope.  Josh is no stranger to this notable non-profit.  Earlier this year, he visited kids at Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital to deliver Easter-themed baskets with Basket of Hope.

“It’s a great opportunity,” says Josh.  “I really feel blessed to be able to give back to these kids and provide hope to families that are going through something very difficult.”

Basket of Hope provides gift baskets and financial support to families with children suffering from cancer and other serious illnesses.  The partnership between the Rams and Basket of Hope began with Rams veteran Kurt Warner and his wife, Brenda, delivering baskets to sick children and has continued for more than 14 years.  Since then, the Rams have impacted more than 5,000 children and their families by continuing to deliver these baskets to children in the bi-state area.

For the last five years, the Rams have helped raise over $300,000 for Basket of Hope at their annual golf tournament.
