Rams Face Big Decision with CB Trumaine Johnson

Cornerback Trumaine Johnson has played for the Rams under the franchise tag for the past two seasons. But this year, Los Angeles will have to make a long-term decision about Johnson, choosing to extend a contract offer or let him walk away.

On Tuesday, ESPN’s Alden Gonzalez is taking a look at the factors surrounding the team’s upcoming decision. In his article, Gonzalez details Johnson’s stats from 2017 — he is widely considered one of the top two cornerbacks potentially available in free agency — as well as different scenarios that could play out over the next few months.

Checking in On Webster’s Recovery

Rams cornerback Kayvon Webster ruptured his achilles in the team’s Week 14 contest against the Eagles. From the looks of Webster’s Instagram, it looks like the cornerback is making steady progress on his recovery — walking out of a boot for the first time since Dec. 10th.
