Tuesday proved to be one of the most physical practices this preseason for the Rams, coming on the day before training camp breaks.
Typically the 1-on-1’s between the cornerbacks and the wide receivers is the most watched part of the beginning of practice. However, the team’s 9-on-7 stole the show and the offensive line, tight ends, and running backs got in a high-energy run game session against the defense’s front seven. The period set the tone for what would be one of camp’s most intense afternoons. The defense was successful in filling gaps quickly throughout the period, though RBs
Stacy, who recently returned to the practice field, ran hard all afternoon and hauled in some receptions in the team’s 11-on-11 period. Stacy has eased his way back into full activity, but looked like he was moving around very well on Tuesday.
