Casey Phillips writes about the Rams practice squad, ticket availability for Sunday and the latest Hekker Hot Seat.

Good morning Rams fans. I hope everyone had a fun and safe Labor Day weekend.

For all of you heading back into work today after a long weekend, here’s a little Rams pick-me-up.

The Rams announced their full practice squad today following this weekend’s cut down to the 53-man roster. Eight of the 10 players were on the team’s 90 man roster during preseason, so those names should be familiar to the Rams family.

The NFL regular season is officially upon us. There’s nothing like witnessing the first moments of the season in person, especially when your favorite team takes the field. Get your tickets today to hear Tess Boyer sing the national anthem on the new sound system in the Edward Jones Dome, see James Laurinitis spit a fountain of water as he runs out on the field, and have a chance to try all the new concessions options. The home opener is something you just have to be there for, so get your tickets now and don’t miss out!

It’s safe to say we have established Johnny Hekker is ridiculous on camera, and we love him for it. This sit down (literally) interview with Chris Long is absolutely must watch television, despite the fact it was originally done for radio. This will also show you why you need to tune into that radio show, called “What the Hekk Wednesdays” hosted by myself and Johnny.

If you know someone who does amazing work in the St. Louis community and deserves recognition, the Georgia Frontiere Quarterback Awards are the perfect option. Fill out the nomination form here and your nominee might win thousands of dollars for the charity of their choice in honor of the Rams’ late owner Georgia Frontiere.
