Defensive tackle Aaron Donald, alongside the rest of the Rams defense, made some necessary second-half adjustments in Sunday's contest, to hold off the Cowboys 35-30.
Though the entire defense struggled in the first half, Donald was a solid presence on the defensive line throughout all four quarters. Most notably, he gave his full force against left guard Jonathan Cooper, notching nine total pressures from 40 pass rushing snaps.
But the three-time Pro Bowler was not just effective on the left side. Defensive Coordinator Wade Phillips had Donald moving along the line throughout the contest and Donald wrecked havoc wherever he went — recording winning snaps against both Zack Martin and La'el Collins.
His performance against the Cowboys was enough to give him the top grade by Pro Football Focus among all interior linemen in Week 4 at 93.8. He also earned himself a spot of the website's Team of the Week.
