The Rams will make their first selection of the 2018 NFL Draft in the third round, at No. 87 overall. And while Los Angeles may not have a first- or second-round pick in this year's draft, as the team's roster proves, there is plenty of talent to be gleaned from later rounds.

Of the 24 current players who were drafted by the club, 15 were taken after the conclusion of the second round.

Here is a look at the Rams recent late-round draft history:

THIRD-ROUND SELECTIONS

G Jamon Brown | No. 72 Overall | 2015

Brown has consistently improved throughout his three seasons with the Rams — starting at guard for much of his career, including all of 2017. The Louisville product was a huge part of the O-Line's overall success last year, helping to open up the club's run game and keeping the pocket clean for quarterback Jared Goff.

QB Sean Mannion | No. 89 Overall | 2015*

As the No. 2 quarterback behind Goff, Mannion has not had too many opportunities to take the field. But he has made the most of every snap, completing 62.0 percent of his passes for 235 yards and just one interception.

WR Cooper Kupp | No. 69 Overall | 2017

Considered a steal in the third round by many, Kupp has established himself as one of the team's most dynamic receivers. He finished off his rookie season with 869 receiving yards and five touchdowns.  

*S John Johnson III | No. 91 Overall | 2017 *

The Boston College product was ranked by Pro Football Focus as the No. 2 graded rookie safety in the league — amassing 75 tackles, 11 pass deflections and one interception in 2017 alone.

FOURTH-ROUND SELECTIONS

TE Tyler Higbee | No. 110 Overall | 2016

Higbee has established himself as the Rams No. 1 tight end, showcasing both his pass-catching and blocking abilities. Through two seasons, Higbee has recorded 36 receptions for 380 yards and two touchdowns.  

WR Pharoh Cooper | No. 117 Overall | 2016

After recording just over 100 receiving yards in his rookie season, Cooper found his niche as Los Angeles'

dynamic return specialist in 2017. The Pro Bowl and All-Pro returner amassed 1,331 combined yards between kickoffs and punt returns, returning one kickoff 103 yards for a touchdown.  

WR Josh Reynolds | No. 117 Overall | 2017

The Texas A&M product provided an important depth piece in the Rams receiving room last season. He filled in nicely for wide receiver Robert Woods in several games and scored his first career touchdown in the club's Week 12 victory over the Saints.

OLB Samson Ebukam | No. 125 Overall | 2017  

Ebukam was a significant contributor on special teams throughout 2017, finishing the year tied for the team lead in special teams tackles (8). He also developed as an edge rusher and showed flashes of his potential to disrupt the offense, with 31 tackles, one forced fumble, and 2.0 sacks.

SIXTH-ROUND SELECTIONS

K Greg Zuerlein | No. 171 Overall | 2012

Zuerlein has been the centerpiece of the Rams special teams unit since 2012. Through six seasons played, the All-Pro and Pro Bowl kicker has converted 82.9 percent of his field goals and 97.4 percent of all point-after attempts. He also ranks 10th on the league's single-season scoring list with 158 points in 2017.

TE Temarrick Hemingway | No. 177 Overall |  2016

Hemingway suffered an unfortunate season-ending injury during the team's preseason matchup against the Chargers, but should get another opportunity to impact the offense in 2018.

WR Michael Thomas | No. 206 Overall | 2016

Because of the Rams stacked receiving room, Thomas hasn't seen too many opportunities at wideout in his first two NFL seasons. But last year, he developed as an important special teams contributor, blocking a Jaguars' punt that was later returned for a touchdown and a field goal against the Eagles in Week 15.

DT Tanzel Smart | No. 189 Overall | 2017*

Smart spent his rookie season learning from Rams veterans Aaron Donald and Michael Brockers as he adjusted to the NFL. He also filled in at nose tackle throughout the season, recording 18 total tackles and one quarterback hit.

FB Sam Rogers | No. 206 Overall | 2017

The Virginia Tech product was one of just two fullbacks drafted in 2017. He signed a futures contract with the Rams earlier this year and was back with the club at the start of offseason training this month.

SEVENTH-ROUND SELECTIONS

LB Bryce Hager | No. 224 Overall | 2015

Hager has been a key depth piece on the Rams defense in each of his three seasons, stepping up each time his number has been called. The Baylor product also recorded a career-high 12 tackles last season, with one pass deflection and a forced fumble.

*OLB Ejuan Price | No. 234 Overall | 2017 *

Price spent the first 12 weeks of the 2017 season on the Rams active roster, before being signed to a futures contract in January. He was also with Los Angeles at the start of the offseason program.
