Injury report 1/25: Anderson returns to practice, Zuerlein and Countess do not participate

Running back C.J. Anderson missed Thursday's practice with an illness, but was back on the field Friday as a full participant.

"Just sick. Can't be injured if you're sick," Anderson said following practice. "All y'all could be sick and not show up to work, and y'all not injured. So I was just sick, that's all."

There were, however, three more players on Los Angeles' injury report as non-participants for Friday. Kicker Greg Zuerlein (left foot) and safety Blake Countess (foot) remain DNPs. Punter Johnny Hekker (illness) also did not participate on Friday.

Obviously the Rams and Patriots don't play for another week. But with a league requirement to have a Friday injury status, only Countess would be listed as questionable.

On the other side, the Patriots do not have any injuries to report once again.

The Rams will be back on the practice field on Saturday before heading to Atlanta for Super Bowl LIII on Sunday.
