Metztli Campos was born on December 28th 1993 in Fullerton California. He attended Princeton High School in Princeton California. Campos graduated high school in 2012 and during the summer of 2012 he was invited to play in the Lions Club All-Star Football game. Campos attended Butte College from 2013 to 2014 until he enlisted in the United States Army as an Infantryman. On January 5th 2015 he flew from California to Georgia to begin my training at Fort Benning and graduated from basic training on April 26th 2015. He was stationed at Fort Myer in Arlington, Virginia with the 3rd United States Infantry Regiment "The Old Guard" The official escort to the President. During his time in the Army he conducted live fire trainings, as well as conducted ceremonial affairs such as funerals, burials, and retirements, Campos also met his wife Ashtrid during his time in Virginia. There were many highlights in his service to his country: two outstanding achievements were taking part in the Inauguration of President Donald Trump and the farewell salute to the former President Barack Obama. Campos left the U.S. Army with an Honorable Discharge in May of 2018 with the following medals; Army Service Ribbon, Global War on Terrorism Medal, Army Good Conduct Medal, 2 Army Achievement Medals, and the Military Outstanding Volunteer Medal. He is currently living in Pomona, Calif., with his wife and has been a Rams fan since 2008 with his favorite player on the Rams Being Cooper Kupp.
