Signed with the Los Angeles Rams as a free agent (3/18/24)...Selected by the Washington Commanders in the seventh round (216th overall) of the 2020 NFL Draft.

NFL Career:

Has appeared in 60 career regular season games (53 starts) and recorded 384 tackles (256 solo), three interceptions with 88 return yards, 15 tackles for loss, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries, one defensive touchdown, 14 passes defended, nine pass breakups, 5.0 sacks, 22 pressures, 12 quarterback hits and 11 hurries.
Has played in one postseason contest (one start) and notched seven tackles (four solo) in the Wild Card Round against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2020.
Recorded a career-high in tackles (115) and tied a career-best in pass breakups (five) during the 2023 season.
Allowed a 66.7 completion percentage as the primary defender in 2023, according to TruMedia.
Notched a career-high 12 tackles (nine solo), in Week 4 against the Eagles in 2023.

College: Curl played collegiately at Arkansas (2017-19), where he appeared in 34 games and recorded 175 tackles (105 solo), 2.0 sacks, two interceptions, 15 passes defended, two fumble recoveries, and three forced fumbles. In 2019 as a junior, he started all 11 games played at strong safety. He played 789 snaps, with 682 coming on defense, the third-most of any Razorback that season. He finished fourth on the team in tackles (76) to go along with four tackles for loss, 2.0 sacks, two pass breakups, two interceptions, two fumbles recoveries and two forced fumbles. He was the first player in the NCAA that season to record a sack, interception, and score a touchdown on a fumble recovery, accomplishing the feat in the first two weeks of the season. Curl recorded double-digit sacks on two occasions that season. He started all 11 games played in 2018 as a sophomore and finished fourth on the team in tackles (53) to go along with five pass breakups and one forced fumble. In 2017 as a freshman, Curl started 11 games at cornerback and played the second-most snaps among all SEC true freshman at that position (690). He finished sixth on the team in tackles (46) and tied for the team-lead in pass breakups (eight), which were the most by an Arkansas freshman since 2001. Curl broke up at least one pass in six games that season.

Personal: Curl was a consensus three-star prospect coming out of high school according to ESPN, Rivals, Scout and 247Sports. Two of his three interceptions as a senior were returned for touchdowns and he notched 89 tackles and six pass breakups. Curl guided his team to a 9-2 record and the Class 6II semifinal. As a senior, Curl also notched 46 catches for 533 yards and six touchdowns on offense. He was named to the Muskogee Phoenix All-Area team as a defensive back and to Scout's All-Midlands team as a sophomore. Curl also competed in track and field. He chose Arkansas over schools such as Oklahoma, Ole Miss, Texas, TCU, Baylor, Nebraska, Houston, Texas Tech, Washington State, Illinois and others. He majored in Communications and has two sisters.
