OLB Matt Longacre Inactive for Rams vs. Eagles

The Rams are back home to play the Eagles on Sunday Night Football, and they will not be facing Carson Wentz from the opposing sideline.

Wentz was downgraded from doubtful to out on Saturday morning, officially putting quarterback Nick Foles in position to start his first game since Week 2.

Foles — the Super Bowl LII MVP who played for the Rams back in 2015 — has completed 65.9 percent of his passes for 451 yards with one touchdown and one interception in 2018.

Wentz is one of the Eagles' seven inactives for Sunday night, a list that also includes cornerback Sidney Jones, defensive tackle Tin Jernigan, and linebacker Jordan Hicks.

There are no surprises on Los Angeles' inactives list, with the active 53-man roster not having an injury to report for Week 15.

After being inactive last week in Chicago, outside linebacker Matt Longacre is inactive for Sunday. Nevertheless, Dante Fowler is expected to take the majority of snaps at that spot. Over the last three games, Fowler has played 89, 86, and 97 percent of the Rams' defensive snaps.

On offense, both Justin Davis and John Kelly are active at running back. Neither had much of a chance to spell starter Todd Gurley last week, but one or both could have that opportunity in Week 15.

Below are the full lists of inactives for both teams:
