Puka Nacua named finalist for Associated Press 2025 NFL Offensive Player of the Year award

Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua has been named a finalist for the Associated Press' 2025 NFL Offensive Player of the Year award, the organization announced Thursday morning.

The four other finalists for the award include Patriots quarterback Drake Maye, 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey, Falcons running back Bijan Robinson and Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba.

The winners of all the 2025 AP awards will be announced at NFL Honors on Thursday, February 5.

Nacua led the league with 129 receptions, finished second in receiving yards with 1,715 passing yards and scored 11 total touchdowns. His success was all-encompassing, as he led the league in contested catches (27), according to Pro Football Focus, and finished first among receivers in yards after catch (729), according to Next Gen Stats.

He was named to the 2025 AP All-Pro First Team as well as the Pro Football Writers of America's All-NFL team.
