Rams arrive in Atlanta for Super Bowl LIII

ATLANTA — Following a day of cross-country travel, the Rams have arrived in Atlanta for Super Bowl LIII.

The Rams landed at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport just after seven o'clock eastern — four o'clock pacific — and were greeted by a brigade of cameras and media.

But they were also greeted by Hall of Fame defensive end Jack Youngblood, who gave the players and coaches Super Bowl LIII hats as they exited the plane and walked the tarmac.

The excitement over the Rams heading to Atlanta began much earlier in the day for the team's sendoff rally. Thousands of fans gathered at the site of the Rams' future home, the Los Angeles Stadium and Entertainment District at Hollywood Park.

The Rams' first official team activity of Super Bowl week will be Opening Night. Los Angeles will be first to have its players take to the podiums, where they'll field questions from a wide variety of reporters and outlets.

Super Bowl Opening Night will be broadcast on NFL Network starting a 4 p.m. pacific.
