TRANSACTIONS: Selected by the Rams in the second round (44th overall) of the 2017 NFL Draft (4/29/17).

COLLEGE: A semifinalist for the John Mackey Award presented to the top tight end in the nation following his senior season in 2016...named first-team all-Sun Belt Conference...also earned first-team all-Sun Belt honors from Phil Steele Publications... tied for the team lead with 49 receptions, and was second on the squad with 717 yards receiving and four touchdown catches... finished the year tied for third among tight ends in the country in receiving yards per game and was tied for seventh in catches per contest...ended up sixth in the league in both categories as well...had a game-high 103 yards on five catches - including a 79-yard touchdown reception on the Jaguars’ second play of the second half - to help the program to its first ever victory over a nationally-ranked opponent in a 42-24 defeat of No. 19 San Diego State...followed up with a single game-best 125 yards on five receptions against SBC co-champion Arkansas State to become first player in school history to have 100-plus yards receiving in consecutive outings...tied his career-best single game receptions total with eight catches for 95 yards, including the game-winning reception to help lead the Jaguars to a 21-20 win...marked the program’s first-ever victory over a Southeastern Conference opponent...as a junior in 2015, earned first-team all-Sun Belt Conference and named to the league’s All-Newcomer Team after lead- ing the Jaguars in receptions (41), receiving yards (575), touchdown catches (eight) and total touchdowns scored (12)...ended the campaign ranked sixth nationally among tight ends in receiving yards per game and tied for 11th at the position in the country in catches per contest...tied the school record for touchdown catches in a season...scored a touchdown in seven straight games, the second-longest streak in program history and the longest since moving to the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision...attended University of Alabama-Birmingham in 2014...in his only season at UAB, caught 17 passes for 292 yards and a score while playing in all 12 games with one start...posted career high eight receptions for 93 yards against Conference USA West Division champion Louisiana Tech...from 2012-13, attended Hutchinson (Kan.)
