Coming off a thrilling comeback victory over the Colts, the Rams set their sights on their second home game in five days hosting the 49ers on Thursday Night Football at SoFi Stadium. Kickoff Thursday in Inglewood, Calif. is scheduled for 5:15 p.m. pacific time on Amazon Prime Video.
In advance of the contest, here is your First Look at Rams-49ers, presented by American Airlines.

Notable 49ers additions
- Signed wide receiver Demarcus Robinson to a two-year deal on March 13. The former Rams receiver made his San Francisco debut in Week 4 after serving a three-game suspension to start the season, finishing with one catch for 20 yards while playing 38.1% of the team's offensive snaps.
- Signed K Eddy Piñeiro to a one-year deal on Sept. 10. Piñeiro was brought in as the 49ers' new starting kicker after they waived former third-round pick Jake Moody the day before. So far, Piñeiro has made all seven of his field goal attempts (long of 51) and four of five extra point attempts in three games with San Francisco.
Top performers in Week 4
Returning from a toe injury, quarterback Brock Purdy completed 22 of 38 pass attempts for 309 yards and two touchdowns against two interceptions in the 49ers' 26-21 home loss to the Jaguars.
Running back Christian McCaffrey led San Francisco backfield with 17 carries for 49 yards. He was also the 49ers' leading receiver with six catches for 92 yards and one touchdown.
On defense, linebacker Dee Winters paced the unit with 10 total tackles, line linebacker Fred Warner added eight and one forced fumble.
On special teams, Piñeiro made both of his field goal attempts and his lone extra point attempt, while punter Thomas Morstead averaged 45.5 yards per punt across two punts.
Early storylines to watch, and what they mean for the Rams
It starts primarily with the health of the 49ers, especially on offense.
49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan told San Francisco reporters Monday that Purdy came in Monday complaining of soreness in his toe. The quarterback has been dealing with a form of turf toe, and it felt fine during and after Sunday's game against the Jaguars. However, his status for Thursday night is now in question.
On top of that, tight end George Kittle remains on Injured Reserve with a hamstring injury – Week 5 marks the minimum fourth game he must miss due to IR rules – and wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk will be unavailable as he continues recovering from a knee injury sustained in Week 7 last season. Additionally, wide receivers Ricky Pearsall (knee) and Jauan Jennings (ribs) came out of the Jacksonville game with injuries.
Still, that hasn't stopped San Francisco from putting up points and yards, as Week 4 showed with 21 points and 389 total yards of offense, with McCaffrey responsible for a large chunk of that.
No matter who is available, McCaffrey has still been a powerful enough engine for the 49ers to run their offense through. Just as in years past, coming away with a win Thursday night starts with limiting his impact.
