CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford's climb up the NFL's all-time passing lists reached a new mark.
With his 51-yard completion to wide receiver Xavier Smith in the second quarter of Sunday's game against the Panthers, Stafford (62,806) passed Matt Ryan (62,792) for the eighth-most career passing yards in league history.
Stafford entered Week 13 need 154 passing yards to achieve the feat. He finished with 243 in the Rams' 31-28 loss to the Panthers, giving him 62,882 for his career.
