Crutchfield enters his sixth season in the NFL and currently serves as the team's Chief of Staff. He spent the first three seasons with the Rams as the assistant to the head coach.
Before joining the Rams, Crutchfield spent three seasons at the University of North Carolina - Charlotte as the football chief of staff (2018-20). He oversaw all support staff including the director of player personnel, the on-campus recruiting coordinator and the director of football operations. He also managed the football budget and coordinated team lodging, travel and meals.
Prior to his stint in Charlotte, Crutchfield spent four seasons at Austin Peay State University where he was the associate athletic director for football and the director of football operations (2015-18). He assisted the head coach with day-to-day operations, coordinated all recruiting functions and evaluated high school football prospects.
Leading up to his time in Clarksville, Crutchfield was the director of football operations at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga for three seasons (2013-15). He also spent two years as a marketing intern for the athletic department at his alma mater, Tennessee Tech University (2012-13). He began his career at the collegiate level in Knoxville as an athletic office intern at the University of Tennessee in 2012.
Cruthfield played collgiately at Tennessee Tech and was a three-year letterman and a 2011 Ohio Valley Conference Champion.
