Fernando Noriega
Assistant Strength & Conditioning

Biography

Fernando Noriega enters his first season as Assistant Strength & Conditioning for the Los Angeles Rams, after completing one year as an intern with the team in the same discipline in 2016.

Noriega came to the Rams from Cal State Long Beach where he served as a strength and conditioning intern while earning his master’s degree in kinesiology and exercise science. At the same time, Noriega spent the 2015 season as a strength and conditioning coach for the football program at El Monte (Calif.) High School.

Originally, Noriega began his career in coaching at EM Speed and Power Training where he was a strength and conditioning coach from 2013-14.

A graduate of Whitworth University with a bachelor’s in kinesiology and exercise science, Noriega was a three- year starter on the gridiron and voted a team captain. His on the field accolades include honorable mention All Northwest Conference.

Noriega and his fiancé, Claudette, have two children: Ethan and Alonzo
