Congratulations to our February Season Ticket Member of the Month, Eric Martinez! Football has always been a passion in Eric's family and he most recently became a Season Ticket Member in 2016 after also having season tickets with his father while the team was in Anaheim. His favorite Rams memory is watching the Rams vs Vikings game in 2018 with his father who is responsible for introducing him to the Rams and starting his fandom as a young man. When did you become a Rams Season Ticket Member?
I became a season ticket holder in 2016. I also had season tickets with my father in Anaheim from 1986- 1992.
Share your story on how you became a Rams Fan.
I became a Rams fan as a young man, watching every game with my dad. My father introduced me to my first game at the Los Angeles Coliseum. I remember watching Wendyl Tyler as a kid. My father led the way, and I have been a fan ever since.
What is your favorite Rams memory?
My favorite Rams memory is watching the Rams vs Vikings game on the couch with my pop's on a Thursday night in 2018. Although I had tickets to the game, my father was terminally ill and I had a feeling that might be our last game together. He passed away on the following Monday, but that memory will be in my mind forever.
What does being a Rams fan mean to you?
Football has always been a passion in my family forever, so now that the Rams are back home I will always be a kid at heart. Sitting in SOFI watching my favorite team.
Who is your favorite Rams player past or present? Why?
My favorite Ram of all time is Jack Youngblood, a player of my dad's era who played sick, injured or whatever it took to give his all.
Do you have any gameday rituals? If so, what are they?
My game day ritual it to ask the LORD to keep all the players safe, and to be in my seat early like I was taught as a kid.
How do you show your Rams pride outside of gameday?
I always flaunt my Rams gear no matter what season it is. And I will talk RAMS football with anyone who will listen.
