Know Before You Go: Rams vs. Detroit Lions at SoFi Stadium

The Los Angeles Rams will host the Detroit Lions for their Week 15 matchup, presented by Toyota, Sunday, December 14 at 1:25 p.m. PT. The game will be broadcast nationally on FOX, on national radio on ESPN and on local radio in English on ESPN LA 710 AM and as well as available in Spanish on KWKW 1330 AM.

Sunday's gameday will feature various community and celebratory elements. The Rams Inspire Change efforts aim to create solutions that address community barriers and highlight stories that have inspired change on and off the field. As part of the game, the Rams will honor and recognize those who have and continue to inspire change in the community through in-game and in-stadium moments.

Rams gameday also will feature holiday activations to get fans in the spirit and halftime will feature the fan-favorite mascots versus peewee football game. Rams mascot Rampage and his friends will take on the Watts and North East Lincoln Rams youth football teams.

Rams gameday to feature 'Inspire Change' moments & recognitions

  • Inspire Change Changemaker Award Recognition: The Rams will recognize their 2025 NFL Inspire Change Changemaker Award recipient Aurianne Tuttle during the first quarter. Tuttle, who is the Founder and Executive Director of ROC Era, will be recognized on-field. Last week, Tuttle was surprised on the Jennifer Hudson Show as the team's recipient and was awarded two Super Bowl LIX tickets. View the segment here . The league-established award recognizes individuals who are making a difference in their communities through social justice work across each of the NFL's 32 club markets. The Rams Inspire Change Changemaker Award recipient was selected based on Tuttle's outstanding community work, specifically supporting those impacted by the Eaton Fire.   • 2025 pLAymaker Recognition: In honor of the Rams commitment to becoming the greatest community partner in Los Angeles and in memory of Kenny Washington (#13), the Rams recognize 13 Angelenos each year for their efforts to fight injustice and pioneer with purpose in their communities as part of the NFL's Inspire Change platform. The Rams will recognize their 13 pLAymakers on the field pregame at 1:00 p.m. PT. Each pLAymaker has received a custom Rams jersey with a Kenny Washington patch that they will wear on gameday.   • Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Recognition: The pregame show will feature an in-game takeover to recognize Kyren Williams as the Rams' club winner for the 2025 Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award presented by Nationwide. More information on the selection and how the team surprised Williams as the winner can be found on the Rams website.
  • Legend of the Game: Kenny Washington will be recognized during the third quarter as the Rams Iconic Legend of the Game presented by 1800 Tequila. In 1946, hometown hero Kenny Washington out of UCLA stepped onto a field for the Rams, entering a league that had previously been closed to men of color for over a decade. Washington, UCLA All-American and record setter, broke the NFL's color barrier, becoming the league's first African-American player of the modern era when he joined the Rams. In his second season with the Rams, he led the league in yards per carry. The Washington Family will be featured from their seats in-game on Kenny's behalf.

Rams gameday to feature additional in-stadium highlights for fans to enjoy

  • National Anthem: Pop and R&B boy band Soulidfield, formed from the show Building the Band, will perform the National Anthem and American Legion Auxiliary Jackie Robinson Unit 252 will present the colors. LA Highway Patrol will hold an 80-yard American flag on the field during the anthem.
  • Third Quarter Performance: Singer, songwriter, dancer and actress Tinashe will perform during the third quarter break of the game.
  • Halftime Mascot Football Game: Members of the North East Lincoln Rams and the Watts Rams will take on Rampage and his friends in a Mascot Football Game during halftime presented by Loyola Marymount University. Mascots alongside Rampage will include Los Angeles Kings mascot Bailey, Los Angeles Galaxy mascot Cozmo, Los Angeles Sparks mascot Sparky, Loyola Marymount University mascot Iggy, Pepperdine mascot Willie the Wave, UCLA mascot Joe Bruin and Denver Nuggets mascot Rocky. In addition, Atlanta Braves mascot Blooper , Las Vegas Golden Knights mascot Chance, and NFL friends and foes including Atlanta Falcons mascot Freddie Falcon, Carolina Panthers mascot Sir Purr and Washington Commanders mascot Major Tuddy.
  • Pregame Autographs: Fans will have the opportunity to receive custom autograph cards from mascots from 11:10 a.m. - 11:40 a.m. in the Rams Land kids zone located in American Airlines Plaza.
  • LMU Day: Rams higher education partner Loyola Marymount University will hand out LMU beanies and have a special performance from LMU Dance at 11:45 a.m. As a supporting partner of the game, the Board of Trustees President Thomas Poon and Chair Paul S. Viviano will be recognized.
  • Rams House For The Holidays: Gameday will feature festive activations including Christmas, Hannukah and Kwanza decor in American Airlines Plaza where fans can take a photo with Santa Claus from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. Fans will also see holiday Snapchat filters throughout the game.
  • Mariachi Rams Sing-Along presented by Corona: The Mariachi Rams will perform "Feliz Navidad" in the first quarter alongside Long Beach, CA funk, soul and rock band WAR. The performance will feature a fan-inclusive sing-along presented by Corona. The pair also will perform together during halftime.
  • Verizon Military Hero of the Game: Command Sergeant Major Wade Scott will be recognized during the second quarter as the Verizon Military Hero of the Game. Scott has served in the United States Army for nearly 24 years with multiple tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. He currently serves as the Command Sergeant Major for the 49th Military Police Brigade. In January of this year, Scott coordinated and led an unprecedented, historic Emergency State Activation. Under his leadership, Joint Task Force Sentinel conducted support of law enforcement missions, provided Type II hand crews, and heavy equipment operations during the Los Angeles Wildfires. His accolades include two Bronze Stars, the Purple Heart, and the California Legion of Merit for his service in January's Wildfires.

  • Item of the Game: The exclusive Rams vs. Lions match-up apparel designed by Born x Raised will be available in The Equipment Room at SoFi Stadium on Level 4 South. Commemorative match-up items including the game pin, acrylic tickets, and more will be available at the Equipment Room and across stadium merchandise locations.   • Special Gift: With a purchase of $75 or more on youth merchandise, shoppers will receive a free gift from Rampage. The first 150 gifts are signed by Rampage himself.

Dining and entertainment options at Hollywood Park

  • Rams Pregame VIP Tailgate: The Rams VIP Tailgate, presented by AVP, is located at CineVita, just steps from the south side of SoFi Stadium. Open starting four hours before kickoff, guests can enjoy all-inclusive food and drinks (including alcohol), indoor air-conditioned seating as well as outdoor lounge seating. Plus, TVs to watch other games going on.
  • The Shops at Hollywood Park contain a variety of dining options including The Meeting Spot, COSM and Cinépolis. For fans arriving before gates open, they can visit The Meeting Spot for gameday drink specials and receive free entry into COSM pre- and postgame by showing a Rams game ticket.
  • Located at Prairie Avenue and Century Boulevard, Hollywood Park's retail district is home to Cinépolis Luxury Cinemas, JD Sports, Iconix Fitness, Cosm and The Meeting Spot, Phenix Salon Suites and Google Code Next.

American Airlines Plaza and Pepsi overlook to feature activations for fans

  • Early Entry Special: There will be early entry beer specials – $5 Bud Light at the Bud Light Backyard and $6 Corona Premier and Corona Extra at the Corona Beach Bar in Upper American Airlines Plaza, until 12:00 p.m. PT or while supplies last.
  • Activities for Fans: Rams Ramp'd Up face painting, the Button Bar, Football Toss, Reaction Game and more will be available to fans in Upper American Airlines Plaza from the time gates open through kickoff.
  • Rams Football Academy: Fans can visit the Rams Football Academy booth in upper American Airlines Plaza from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. PT to learn about the exciting youth program and sign up for exclusive benefits and merchandise.
  • Rams Land Kids Zone: Fans can enjoy a coloring station, a tumbling space, a Rams House reading nook, a kids-edition bench press and a vertical leap in Upper American Airlines Plaza from the time entries open through halftime.
