The celebrations kicked off at SoFi Stadium during the Rams' season opener 'Vamos Rams' themed game, which honored and recognized the Latino and Hispanic community and their traditions. Fans were immersed in a lineup of cultural activations that brought energy and authenticity to gameday. The sounds of the Mariachi Rams, a world class musical ensemble that combines authentic Mariachi music with a modern twist performed as Folklórico dancers, took the field for dynamic performances. SoFi Stadium visuals also displayed the influence of Latino culture throughout Los Angeles.
During the halftime show, presented by Corona, Mexican American DJ and producer Deorro delivered a performance that blended electronic dance music with Latin influences, showcasing the fusion of cultures that defines LA's identity. The "Mariachi Ride Along," presented by Corona, added another layer of creativity to the festivities. The Rams produced a special in-stadium video featuring singer-songwriter Macario Martínez, who shared his passion for music and culture. Martínez also performed live alongside the Mariachi Rams during the game, bringing traditional sounds to the modern gameday experience.
Before kickoff, the Rams honored two standout local athletes through the NFL Latino Youth Honors. A Latino high school boys' tackle football player and a girls' flag football player, who were recognized on the field as Latino Youth Honor Award nominees. Each nominee represented the next generation of leaders in sports and community.
Continuing the celebrations off the field, the Rams collaborated with renowned Los Angeles artist Mister Cartoon, whose distinct Chicano Street art style captivates the culture. Together, they launched a limited-edition Rams apparel collection that gave fans a creative way to represent both their team and their roots. The collaboration showcased how art and football intersect to celebrate heritage and pride.
Throughout Latino Heritage Month, the Rams worked to unify thousands of fans, Los Angeles youth, and community members in celebration of the people and traditions that make this city so special. 'Vamos Rams' served as a reminder that heritage is not only about recognition, but also about representation and connection. The Rams once again demonstrated how the game unites fans from all backgrounds together under one city and one team.
