Rams annual "Season of Giving" presented by Bank of America with Jared Verse, Kyren Williams & more

The Los Angeles Rams concluded their annual Season of Giving initiative, presented by Bank of America, following four weeks of service, celebration, and connection to communities across Los Angeles. Throughout November and December, the Rams reached more than 13,000 individuals across Los Angeles, powered by 550 volunteers who collectively dedicated nearly 5,500 hours of service. From Rams players and staff to cheerleaders, Rampage, and community partners, each event reflected the organization's commitment to provide a meaningful and impactful service that uplifts Angelenos during the holiday season.

Season of Giving kicked off at the West Valley Food Pantry Thanksgiving Grocery Distribution, where outside linebacker Jared Verse, members of the Rams 2025 rookie class, and Rams staff volunteered to distribute Thanksgiving groceries to nearly 200 families in Woodland Hills. Volunteers assisted with food bagging, distribution, and greeting families, while West Valley Food Pantry CEO Debbie Decker was surprised with Super Bowl LX tickets.

Reflecting on the experience, Verse shared, "Not just the fact that we are able to give back to a community who has given us so much, but also the ability to come back to the West Valley Food Pantry, which is one place I like to spend a lot of my time. I have gotten very close with the Debbie, so once the opportunity arose of them inviting us back, me and a couple of rookies came back."

The momentum continued at the Nickerson Gardens Food Drive with L.A. Care Health Plan, where the Rams partnered with local nonprofits to host a football clinic and Thanksgiving food distribution at the field the team installed in Watts. The event served 500 families and featured football activities, community networking, and holiday festivities, with Rams cheerleaders and Rampage in attendance. "It is a great time for our organization to come back to Nickerson Gardens, enjoy football and distribute turkeys to those who need it," said Johnathan Franklin, Rams Senior Director of Social Justice and Football Development.

The efforts continued as running back Kyren Williams, cheerleaders, and Rampage welcomed youth athletes from the North East Lincoln Rams and Watts Rams to the team's practice facility for Ramsgiving, a Thanksgiving meal centered on collaboration and connection. Both youth football programs are coached by LAPD officers and supported by the Rams through funding, equipment, and character development programming. "This is what it is all about," said Williams. "We have the Lincoln Rams and the Watts Rams here with the LA Rams, so this is what it is all about, using football as a way to bring family in. Having everyone around sharing food and breaking bread is spreading the holiday spirit."

As Thanksgiving approached, the Rams returned to South Los Angeles for a Thanksgiving meal and grocery distribution at A Place Called Home, where defensive end Kobie Turner, Rams staff, and cheerleaders served a holiday meal to more than 1,000 community members and distributed 400 turkeys and grocery bags to families in need. Turner also performed alongside the A Place Called Home Band, 29Live, with Albertsons, Vons, and Pavilions supporting the event through food donations. "The amount of people that we are serving and giving food to, so they can make their Thanksgiving meals, is incredible. I'm very blessed to be here," Turner said. "I'm grateful for the community behind me, the Los Angeles Rams community, and to be able to come give back."

To kick off December, in partnership with Bank of America, Rams Legend Andrew Whitworth joined staff for a school surprise and delight with Bikes, where more than 300 elementary students at Frank D. Parent Elementary School in Inglewood, CA received brand new bicycles and were encouraged to shout affirmations such as "I believe in myself." The surprise and excitement that students displayed reaffirmed the Rams' passion to give back.

The organization also hosted its sixth consecutive Holiday Food Distribution with the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank at SoFi Stadium, partnering with Pechanga Resort Casino to distribute enough food for more than 20,000 meals. Rams staff, Rampage, cheerleaders, and Pechanga volunteers loaded frozen chicken, fresh produce, and shelf stable food kits into families' cars. "When we made the move to Los Angeles back in 2016, we learned that one in four Angelenos struggles with food insecurity," said Molly Higgins, Executive Vice President, Community Impact and Engagement. "You can hear from the Food Bank that it continues to grow and is at an all time high at this point. This is a way to address a need that plagues our community."

On Giving Tuesday, alongside Bank of America, members of the Rams 2025 rookie class, cheerleaders, and staff partnered with Shoes That Fit to provide students with new athletic shoes and host a youth flag football clinic. "We started working with Shoes That Fit to target one of our pillars, which is providing students with brand new shoes for the holiday season," said Mia Toliver, Community Impact and Engagement Operations Coordinator.

Throughout December, efforts featured two holiday shopping spree experiences, each designed to meet families where they were during the holiday season. In partnership with Call Jacob and The Salvation Army, more than 20 Rams players and staff hosted their annual shopping spree in the West Valley, pairing volunteers one on one with youth to shop for gifts and create a personal, joy filled experience for each child. In continuation of the Rams' fire recovery efforts, the team also partnered with Bank of America and Project Passion to host a separate holiday shopping spree for children who lost their homes in the Eaton Fire in January 2025. Each child received a $200 gift card and was paired with a volunteer to help them shop for holiday gifts.

"We're happy to be here and support and bring this great season of holiday cheer back to some kids who really need it," said Reginald Lillie, Bank of America Market Executive. Rams Community Impact Manager David Weingarten added, "It's such a special experience to walk through the aisles and see kids picking up brand-new bikes, footballs and games. For many of them, this holiday season is going to look a little bit different than it has before. We want to provide them with a special experience to make it feel like a holiday they won't ever forget."

To close out the Season of Giving, the Rams partnered with Bank of America to return to A Place Called Home for their 'Home for the Holidays' celebration, delivering toys, festive activities, and live entertainment to more than 3,000 children. The event featured an appearance from Rams Legend Steven Jackson alongside staff and volunteers. A Place Called Home was also recognized as the 2025 Bank of America Neighborhood Builder, receiving a $200,000 grant to support career and workforce readiness programming. Additional events included the Rams' participation in ABC-7 and the Los Angeles County Fire Department's Spark of Love Toy Drive, the annual Watts Sleigh Ride, and holiday toy distribution throughout the community, bringing the four-week Season of Giving to a close.

Through this initiative, the Los Angeles Rams once again demonstrated that their impact reaches far beyond the field strengthening communities, uplifting families, and spreading joy across Los Angeles during the holiday season.
