November 2025 STM of the Month: Hank Pieters

NOV stm-of the month-16x9

Congratulations to our November Season Ticket Member of the Month, Hank Pieters! Hank became a Rams Season Ticket Member in 2016 when the team returned to LA but he has been a Rams fan since the 3rd grade. His favorite Rams memory is when the team won their first Super Bowl with the Greatest Show on Turf and his all-time favorite Rams player is Marshall Faulk. Learn more about Hank below!

When did you become a Rams Season Ticket Member?

The first year they returned to LA and plant at the LA Coliseum in 2016.

Share your story on how you became a Rams Fan.

I became a fan when I was in the 3rd grade and was in the Cub Scouts when we attended the Rams VS Vikings and Roman Gabriel was our QB against Joe Kapp and his Vikings in the Coliseum. It was almost full circle with LA coming back to LA and then attending the first game back. It was a surreal moment. I have been a long time loyal RAM fan ever since then. I traveled to St. Louis to watch a game and remembering telling the fans in St. Louis that "my Rams will be coming back home to LA" and they all just laughed at me.

What is your favorite Rams memory?

I have so many to list but I will go with winning our first Super Bowl with the Greatest Show on Turf. At the beginning of the season when we started 6-0 I told all of my co-workers and non Ram fans that my Rams are going to win the Super Bowl. And of course after winning it I came in to work with my head held way up high as an ecstatic proud Ram Fan. We finally had done it!!

What does being a Rams fan mean to you?

God has blessed me with the ability to afford being what I always dreamed of. That is being a season ticket holder. This shows the meaning of my loyalty and commitment as a Ram fan while even living in Nebraska now and keeping my season tickets and attending as many games possible.

Who is your favorite Rams player past or present? Why?

Such a difficult choice to make when you think of all the great players that have come through the organization. But I'm going to have to go with Marshal Faulk since he was a huge part of the Rams success during the 1st Super Bowl run. He was so versatile and a weapon that could change the course of a game and drive the opposing defense cray. Plus, he was a class act TEAM player.

Do you have any gameday rituals? If so, what are they?

I say a little prayer for all the players safety and always wear my Ram gear whether it is at the game or home. That's my pride of my Rams.

How do you show your Rams pride outside of gameday?

My office and home has Ram items displayed everywhere as well as my license plate frames on my cars. I am very proud to show my Ram loyalty. Even during the struggling early to late 90's everyone knew I was loyal fan by always sticking to my Rams.

Is there anything else you would like us to know?

My son and I always attend the games together and I brought him up to be a true loyal Ram fan. He's probably one of the biggest fans I know and his passion always shows on game days. When the Rams left to St. Louis back in 1995 I saved my "Los Angeles Rams" license plate frame for him to keep when he became old enough to drive and have his own car. He kept it all these years and proudly displays it on his car today. He'll pass it on to his son, my grand son, once he drives and has his own car. I only hope it keeps passing through to the 4th generation and beyond.
