• After redshirting in 2016, his 2017 season included honors such as Academic All-Big Ten, First-Team freshman All-America by FWAA and Big-Ten Conference All-Freshman team by BTN.com.

PERSONAL

• Was born in Windsor, Ontario, Canada and majored in sports medicine at the University of Iowa.
• Was one of two players on the Iowa football team from Detriot, MI and was coached by Lou Beatty at Renaissance High School.
• Remained committed to Iowa throughout the recruiting process despite a late push from Michigan.
