NFL Career

  • Has appeared in 22 regular season games with three starts.
  • Started seven games and played 60 or more snaps in six contests during his rookie season.
  • Did not allow a sack or commit a penalty in his seven starts as a rookie.
  • Started at left guard and played all 50 offensive snaps in a Divisional Round matchup at Lambeau Field against the Packers during the 2020 playoffs.
  • Made his NFL debut in a Week 7 win at Atlanta and earned his first career start in a Week 11 win over the Bears in 2019. 

Personal

Evans was a consensus four-star recruit by ESPN, Rivals and Scout as well as a high-ranked recruit in the state of Texas. He helped lead Allen High School to a Class 6A Division I State Championship game and elected to play at Oklahoma over schools such as Ole Miss, Oregon State, Texas A&M and others. His father, Bobby Joe Evans, was the 1994-95 Texas Gatorade High School Player of the Year in basketball and played at Oklahoma. His brother, Tay, played linebacker for the Sooners during the 2015 and 2016 seasons. Evans majored in human relations.

Community Impact

Evans joined teammates and Make-A-Wish Tri-Counties to host the 3rd Annual "LA Rams Night for Wishes" charity event in 2020. The evening raised $163,000 to fulfill wishes of local children battling life-threatening conditions.
