• Became the first cornerback in franchise history to record a sack in a playoff game in the Wild Card Round in 2024. Durant recorded a sack and an interception in the same defensive series, becoming the third player in franchise history to record at least one sack and one interception in a postseason game.
• Earned NFC Defensive Player of the Week honors in Week 7 of the 2024 season after recording two tackles, two passes defended, 1.0 sack, one quarterback hit, one interception, one tackle for loss and one forced fumbled in a single game.

COLLEGE

• After his high school graduation, spent a year at Palmetto Prep Academy before he walked on to South Carolina State in 2018.
• Not too long into his collegiate career, received a scholarship to play as a Bulldog and saw playing time in his first season.
• Became a permanent starter during the 2019 season and was selected Second-Team All-MEAC.
• In his 2021 season, Durant was a First-Team Associated Press FCS All-American selection.
• Led his team with three interceptions and twelve pass breakups while making 12 starts in his last season as a Bulldog.
• Accumulated 38 total tackles and capped the season off with a Cricket Celebration Bowl Dennis Thomas Defensive MVP recognition in a win over Jackson state.

PERSONAL

• His passion for football originated from his cousins Markee, Marquais, and Michael Hamlin. Michael Hamlin was drafted in 2009 by the Dallas Cowboys as a fifth-round pick.
• Was a multi-sport athlete at Lamar High School, playing football, baseball, basketball, and track.
