• Declared for the NFL Draft following his junior season at Florida in 2014. Played in 10 games (10 starts) at left tackle that season.
• Appeared in seven games as a sophomore before a knee injury ended his season.
• In 2012, appeared in 12 games (three starts) and was named First-Team Offense SEC Coaches' All-Freshman (OL) and Sporting News Freshman All-America.

PERSONAL

• Was consensus five-star and top-20 recruit coming out of high school. Rated as the No. 2 prospect by Rivals, the No. 7 prospect by ESPN and the No. 11 prospect by Scout.
• Was the No. 1 recruit out of the state of North Carolina according to Rivals.
• Was named a first-team high school All-American by USA Today, ESPN, Rivals, MaxPreps and Sports Illustrated.
• Started since his freshman season and did not allow a sack over the final three years of his prep career.
• Led Mallard Creek to a 13-1 record and berth in the NCHSAA Class 4AA State Semifinals. Mallard Creek finished No. 47 in the nation in the final Powerade Fab 50 rankings.
• Was an AP All-State first-team selection.
• Selected to participate in the 2012 U.S. Army All-America Bowl.
• His father, D.J., played football at Presbyterian College and in the Arena Football League.
