Biography
Derion Kendrick was selected by the Los Angeles Rams in the sixth round (212th overall) of the 2022 NFL Draft. He appeared in 15 games (six starts) in the 2022 season and made his first career start in his NFL Debut against the Cardinals in Week 3.

- Appeared in 15 games (six starts) and made his first career start in his NFL Debut against the Cardinals in Week 3.
- Registered 43 tackles (36 solo), five pass breakups, and four passes defended in his rookie season.
- Led all Rams rookies in tackles (43), total snaps (506), defensive snaps (467), and starts (6).
College: Derion Kendrick started his college career at Clemson after being a top 30 overall recruit and top-five receiver prospect nationally. He was a reserve receiver in 15 games as a true freshman. In 2019, Kendrick transitioned to cornerback where he earned the starting role. He was credited with 51 tackles
(3.0 for loss), six pass breakups, and two interceptions. During this season he was a Second-team All-ACC selection. In his last season at Clemson, Kendrick credited 20 tackles (one for loss), six pass breakups, a sack, an interception, and a fumble recovery. He finished with First-team All-ACC. After his third season, Kendrick transferred to Georgia and played in all 15 games as a wide receiver and on special teams in the Cotton Bowl and National Championship Game. He is a two-time CFP national champion (2018, 2021). In his 2019 season, Kendrick was Second team All-ACC and was Second Team All-SEC in 2021. He was awarded First team All-ACC (2020) and Orange Bowl MVP (2021).
Personal: Before his collegiate career, Kendrick was awarded Gatorade Player of the Year in South Carolina. He was rated No. 26 in the nation by 247Sports, No.30 player by Rivals, and No. 62 player by ESPN prior to starting his collegiate career. Kendrick attended South Pointe High School where he led his team to win the state title for four consecutive years. He was the recipient of the Don Leebern, Jr., and Don Leebern III Football Scholarship. In 2018 Kendrick played for the U.S. Army All-American Game and was a finalist for the Army Player of the Year Award. At Clemson and Georgia, Kendrick majored in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism.
