Was the highest-graded rookie defender in the 2024 preseason and had the ninth-best defensive grade (90.6) among all defenders in August, according to PFF.
Finished the 2024 season with the best run defense grade (77.6), best tackling grade (82.3) and fourth-best defensive grade (69.4) among rookie linebackers (min. 20% snaps played), according to PFF.

COLLEGE

Played one season at LSU after transferring from Oregon State.
During his career at Oregon State and LSU, appeared in 55 games and registered 378 total tackles.
As a fifth-year senior and graduate transfer to LSU, started in all 10 games, tallying 70 tackles and a pair of quarterback hurries.
In 2022, started all 13 games for the Beavers and led the team in tackles with 83.
Was named First-Team All-Pac 12 by the league coaches and Second-Team All-Conference by the Associated Press.
In his junior year, started all 13 games and notched 89 tackles to go along with 5.0 tackles for loss and a pair of interceptions.
In 2020, started all seven games during the a pandemic-shortened season and recorded 63 tackles and 4.5 tackles for loss.
As a true freshman, played all 12 games including six starts.
Earned Freshman All-America honors and ranked third among all freshmen nationally with 73 tackles, which was also second on the team. Had 7.5 tackles for loss that season.

Is a 2018 graduate from Crescent Valley High school in Corvallis, Oregon.
Transferred to Crescent City after playing his first three years of high school in football in Philadelphia.
Was a four-star prospect, according to Rivals, and played defensive end and running back in high school.
Was rated the top overall player in Pennsylvania prior to moving to Oregon and a 4A All-State selection in Pennsylvania as a junior.
