Played as a defensive tackle, outside as a defensive end and stand up as a linebacker during his high school career.
Finished his senior season with 118 tackles, eight tackles-for-loss, 8.5 sacks and one forced fumble for the Division I state champions and was named to the All-Ohio First-Team and the Columbus Dispatch All-Metro First-Team.
Finished as a finalist for the 2019 fall sports Athlete of the Year by ThisWeek.
Was named Second-Team All-OCC as a junior in 2018.
Grew up in Pickerington, Ohio and his brother, DaVon, was an All-Big Ten defensive linemen for the Buckeyes prior to being selected in the third-round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Jacksonville Jaguars.
