PERSONAL

• Was a five star prospect and one of the top quarterback prospects in the nation coming out of high school. Was also the no.25 recruit overall in the country and the no.2 player in the state of Tennessee.
• Was named the Tennessee Gatorade Player of the Year as a senior after throwing for 2,827 yards and 41 touchdowns with just three interceptions while rushing for 862 yards and 11 touchdowns on 92 carries. Was selected to the All-American Bowl.
• Led Westview High School to the 2A Tennessee State Championship
• Participated in Nike's "The Opening" and was selected to the All-American Bowl in San Antonio
• Chose to attend Alabama over Ole Miss and Tennessee.
• His father, Jason, was a quarterback and outfielder at Mississippi State (1990-92) before transferring to Southern Miss (1993-94), where he focused on one sport and became an all-conference baseball player. Jason later began his football coaching career as a quarterbacks coach at Jacksonville State (1997-99) and Texas State (2000-02). Jason later became the offensive coordinator at Tennessee-Chattanooga (2003-05) and the head coach at Tennessee-Martin, where he recently completed his 20th season.
• His younger brother, Graham, is a three-star quarterback prospect in the 2028 recruiting class and holds offers from Alabama, Auburn, Oklahoma and several others.
• Also grew up playing baseball and basketball. Was a three-sport standout in high school.
