Andrew Whitworth Named to Pro Bowl

The Rams had five players initially named to the 2018 Pro Bowl roster, and now they'll have at least one more.

Left tackle Andrew Whitworth has been named to the Pro Bowl, replacing Washington left tackle Trent Williams, who will not participate due to injury.

This will be Whitworth's third consecutive trip to the Pro Bowl and fourth overall. The 36 year old signed with the Rams after 11 seasons with the Bengals and stabilized the left side of the Rams' offensive line in 2017. Whitworth started Los Angeles' first 15 games this season, helping lead the club finish No. 1 in scoring, and paving the way for running back Todd Gurley's 2,093 yards from scrimmage and 19 total touchdowns.

Whitworth joins Gurley, defensive tackle Aaron Donald, kicker Greg Zuerlein, punter Johnny Hekker, and return specialist Pharoh Cooper as Los Angeles' representatives on the Pro Bowl roster.

Quarterback Jared Goff is currently a first-alternate and cornerback Trumaine Johnson is a second-alternate for the event.

The Pro Bowl will be held in Orlando at Camping World Stadium on Jan. 28.
