Cameron Lynch Joins Rams Cheerleaders on NFL Fitness Tour

Linebacker Cameron Lynch joined three Rams cheerleaders — Megan, Sarah, and Melissa —  on a trip around the globe, travelling to various locations overseas for an NFL fitness tour.

The group helped lead our U.S. military personnel stationed in the Bahamas, Australia, Cuba, Curacao, Diego Garcia, El Salvador, Greenland, Honduras, and Singapore in extensive workouts, as part of the ProTour and Armed Forces Entertainment companies.

Each member of the Rams organization travelled to different locations throughout the month.

Melissa P. visited Latin American countries, El Salvador and Honduras, before taking off to Greenland. Sarah S. started her journey in the Bahamas, but she also made stops in Curacao and Cuba to engage military members in various fitness activities. Megan T. spent time in Singapore, before finishing off her trip in Diego Garcia.

And finally, Lynch made the long trip across the globe to Australia, where he got to spend the week with military families stationed in both Sydney and Alice Springs.

Here's what they had to say about their trips and be sure to check out their photos from the once in a lifetime experience:

"Coming from a military family, I was honored be given the opportunity to visit our troops in Diego Garcia. Getting to spend time with them, hearing their stories, and putting smiles on their faces will be something I cherish forever. I am grateful for their service to our country and was humbled that I could give something back to them."

"Protours has provided NFL players and cheerleaders an opportunity to travel to Alice Springs and Sydney Australia to spend time with military personnel stationed miles and miles away from home! We got to visit the Kangaroo Sanctuary, watch the Super Bowl, and operate a Play 60 with the American and Australian families in Alice Springs! Hopefully us being there helped encourage them to finish out their 3 years in Alice Springs and players to root for on Sundays! Go Rams!"

"The 2018 Caribbean Super Bowl Tour was incredible and brought so much joy to our U.S. military overseas. Some of the most fulfilling moments we have as NFL cheerleaders are those that we have off the field, and this tour was filled with them. We told our military how grateful we are for their service all throughout the Caribbean and will be cheering them on for years to come! Thank you to the Los Angeles Rams, ProTour Productions and Armed Forces Entertainment for this opportunity!"

— Sarah S.

"This experience was incredible. I had an amazing opportunity to visit new countries and take in breathtaking scenery. However, what I took away and what I am most thankful for is a new appreciation for the troops on a whole different level. Seeing a glimpse into their everyday lives and where they live, made me realize that there is even more dedication and sacrifice that these servicemen and women give to our country.  Despite being away from their families in the most remote or unsafe locations, it was amazing to see them in good spirits and the amount of support they gave each other.  I am very grateful that we were able to visit the troops, and in return brighten up their day while giving them a break in their daily routines with our visit."
