How Rams Players Plan to Spend Their Bye Week

*

After a grueling road series spanning 11-days and two countries, Los Angeles will take a much-needed break for the next couple of days during the bye week. Check below to find out what some of your favorite Rams players will be doing on their days off:*

"I'm just going to hang out with the family. Hanging out here, experiencing L.A. a little bit. Been such a whirlwind of getting here, getting on the team and getting us in the right direction and those kinds of things, we're just going to spend some time hanging out, seeing the city and just everything we get the chance to do together. Maybe catch some good games, basketball, baseball or something."

  • Left tackle, Andrew Whitworth

"I'll be here, nothing special. Just over here keeping my body healthy and staying in the film room."

  • Defensive tackle, Aaron Donald

"Not going anywhere just hanging out. My wife and I are just going to hang out here in Thousand Oaks and recoup a little bit. Just be ready to go next week. There's a good balance between it, you want to be able to get away but at the same time you know you're coming back. You want to be prepared as best you can, take advantage of this bye week to get your body back, but get your mind ready to make a good push here."

  • Wide receiver, Cooper Kupp

"Not going to do much, I'm kind of lame. Just rest and get healthy. We have been fortunate, we didn't play too many snaps in London but the time change going to Jacksonville, staying there and then flying over and back. I mean, we're all tired with lack of sleep, so definitely trying to recover from that. And then I don't know, I might go to the weekend and go somewhere, Santa Barbara, Santa Monica or somewhere like that. We'll see what happens."

  • Outside linebacker, Matt Longacre

"No big plans, I'm going back to Texas for a little bit. Just kind of chill, I don't have any big plans. They play Baylor, so I may head down to Waco. I know we are going to get that W so it's all good either way."

  • Running back, Malcolm Brown

"I am not sure yet, the wife probably has some stuff planned. You know how that goes, so we'll see what the itinerary looks like once I leave here. But I'll pretty much be around here in L.A."

  • Right guard, Jamon Brown

"I'm going home [first]. Then I am going to go back to Boston College for a little bit. I'll be going to the game Friday night against Florida State, I think we can beat them to so it should be fun."

  • Safety, John Johnson III

"I am going to Eastern Washington just to say what's up to my friends who I haven't seen for a long time. That's basically it. They have a bye week so it's perfect. I'm still going to be safe though because I'm not doing anything crazy. It'll be fun to take my mind off of it for a little bit, especially the playbook."

  • Outside linebacker, Samson Ebukam

"Relax and do nothing. I am hanging out here, been on too many plane rides in the past 10 days. During a bye week, I'll take a little bit of break from football. During the week kind of on off days you still don't get away from it, but this week get the mind relaxed a little bit and get ready to finish out the season strong."

  • Tight end, Tyler Higbee

"I'm not sure yet. I think really after today we're kind of going to get things wrapped up. I think the nice thing about living in this area is that you don't have to go too far to feel like you can still get away and enjoy the beach or whatever that might be. But, I think it will be important for me to be able to get away for a couple days and just like we talk about with the players, get refreshed and get recharged. We'll do a little work here and there because you do enjoy doing some things, but I will try to catch up on some rest and get away, whether you go to Santa Barbara or somewhere like that – I'll figure that out a little bit later this afternoon and those are good things when you live in such a nice area."

  • Head coach, Sean McVay

"Spend some time with my son and then I think we're going to go watch Zac Brown Band at the Hollywood Bowl so that will be fun."

  • Safety, Cody Davis

"For me it's perfect timing I most definitely need these two weeks, so I most definitely plan to take advantage of the bye. I'm going back to see my daughter, going home to see my baby."

  • Linebacker, Mark Barron
