Rams Waive QB Aaron Murray

The Los Angeles Rams have waived quarterback Aaron Murray.

Murray had agreed to join the Rams back in March and took part in the team's voluntary veterans minicamp. With the departure of Murray, the Rams' current QB depth chart now consists of Jared Goff and Sean Mannion.

A 2014 fifth-round pick by the Chiefs, Murray spent the first two seasons and the 2016 offseason with Kansas City before being cut in September. After a short stint with the Cardinals, Murray spent most of the 2016 season on the Eagles' practice squad.

Murray started alongside Rams running back Todd Gurley at Georgia in college for the 2012 and 2013 seasons.
