The Daily Dose: NFL.com's Best Fits for Notable Free Agents

This offseason, theRams.com will be taking a look around the internet for the top Rams headlines of the day. Here's a look at what's out there for Thursday, March 22nd about your Los Angeles Rams:

NFL.com's Best Fits for Notable Free Agents:

It's only been one week since free agency started, but already 18 of the top 20 free agents have signed new contracts. Just 10 of NFL.com's top 70 available players are still looking for a new home.

But despite that, there are still plenty of signings to go. For that reason, the NFL.com's Gregg Rosenthal is taking a look at the best fits for some of the biggest names left:

— DT Ndamukong Suh: Los Angeles Rams

— WR Terrelle Pryor: Cleveland Browns

— TE Martellus Bennett: New England Patriots

— QB Colin Kaepernick: Miami Dolphins

— LB NaVorro Bowman: Dallas Cowboys

— WR Jordan Matthews: Indianapolis Colts

Peters and Talib Trades — One of ESPN.com's Best Overall Deals**

With the first wave of free agency in the books, the team at ESPN's NFL Insiders is answering a few topics surrounding the action. One of those topics is "Best Overall Deal So Far" and among the picks were the Rams' trades for cornerbacks Marcus Peters and Aqib Talib.

Field Yates, NFL Insider:

"The Rams trading for Marcus Peters and Aqib Talib. In a time when cornerbacks are coveted and paid substantially on the open market, Los Angeles acquired a pair of potential Pro Bowlers for modest draft-pick compensation commensurate with their on-field abilities. While each has had some combustible moments on the field, the talent is undeniable and the Rams are confident such behavior won't repeat itself in L.A."
