Under first-year head coach Sean McVay and general manager Les Snead , the Rams had a very successful free agency — acquiring the likes of wide receiver Robert Woods, cornerback Nickell Robey-Coleman, center John Sullivan, outside linebacker Connor Barwin and left tackle Andrew Whitworth. ESPN Writer Dan Graziano graded Woods and Whitworth as two of the top five signings in the league overall.

Adam Kilgore of the Washington Post details McVay's quick rise through the NFL coaching ranks on the one-year anniversary of his hiring.

"The youngest coach in modern NFL history when the Rams hired him last offseason to helm a dull, floundering franchise, McVay has turned the Rams into a Super Bowl threat, with one of the most appealing, thrilling offenses in the NFL."

Rams outside linebacker Connor Barwin kicked off the offseason with a road trip to Big Sur, Carmel and Monterey over the long weekend. Check out his Instagram page for some behind the scenes photos of his trip.
