The Daily Dose: Wednesday, January 17th

This offseason, theRams.com will be taking a look around the internet for the top Rams headlines of the day. Here's a look at what's out there for Wednesday, Jan. 17th about your Los Angeles Rams:

Seven Rams were named to the 2018 Pro Bowl including running back Todd Gurley, defensive tackle Aaron Donald, punter Johnny Hekker, kicker Greg Zuerlein, wide receiver Pharoh Cooper, left tackle Andrew Whitworth, and long snapper Jake McQuaide.

Although Donald and Zuerlein will not be participating in the all-star game due to injury, four Rams in total will be travelling to Orlando at the end of the month to take part in the festivities.

And on Wednesday, the league released its list of official Pro Bowl Week activities. One of the new additions this year is the Pro Bowl Kids Stadium Takeover. The week will also include an NFL Flag Championships, High School Day, Skills Showdown, team practices and a series of other events.

Last month, Rams right guard Jamon Brown was nominated for Sports Illustrated and CBS' Most Valuable Performer Award. And this week, the talented singer revealed on Twitter  that he had been chosen as one of the league's finalists for the honor.

All of the top players will be flown to Hollywood to compete in a live one-hour special on CBS and CBS All Access on Thursday, Jan. 25 at 5 p.m. PT. During the show, a panel of judges will critique each player's performance before viewers vote online to determine the MVP.

ESPN* *writer Michael Rothstein breaks down the final Madden rookie ratings of the season. Rams strong safety John Johnson III came in as the No.8 player overall, earning a top-ten ranking by recording 71 tackles, one interception and five pass breakups this season.

Final rating: 84 | Launch rating: 74 | Drafted: No. 91 overall
