The Daily Dose: Wednesday, January 24

This offseason, theRams.com will be taking a look around the internet for the top Rams headlines of the day. Here's a look at what's out there for Wednesday, Jan. 24th about your Los Angeles Rams:

Head coach Sean McVay — the youngest head coach in modern league history —  helped the Rams complete one of the best year-to-year turnarounds in the NFL. Not only did he lead the club to an 11-5 record, but he also guided Los Angeles to its first NFC West title in over a decade.

For those reasons, McVay was voted as the Sporting News 2017 Coach of the Year. Earlier this month, he was also named the PFWA Coach of the Year and should likely contend for the same title at the NFL Honors Award Show in February.

Coach of the Year voting results:
1. Sean McVay, Rams
2. Doug Pederson, Eagles
3. Doug Marrone, Jaguars
4. Mike Zimmer, Vikings
5. Bill Belichick, Patriots

Rams Nailed Head Coaching Search:

In Good Morning Football's daily segment "What We Learned," host Peter Schrager told viewers why he believes the Rams nailed their 2017 head coaching search. In the piece, Schrager credits general manager Les Snead, senior assistant Tony Pastoors, and VP of Football Operations Kevin Demoff for "casting a wide net before choosing McVay," and interviewing a variety of "out of the box" candidates for the job.

Checking in on the Pro Bowlers:

The Pro Bowl officially kicked off in Orlando on Wednesday. Check out what the six Pro Bowlers from the Rams — left tackle Andrew Whitworth, running back Todd Gurley, long snapper Jake McQuaide, quarterback Jared Goff, wide receiver Pharoh Cooper, and punter Johnny Hekker — have been up to so far:
