LA Native and Recording Artist Jay Rock to Perform at Rams Home Opener

To welcome fans back to the Coliseum for the 2018 season, the Los Angeles Rams will feature entertainers with local ties and will honor some of the team's Hall of Fame Legends. The Rams host the division-rival Arizona Cardinals for the home opener on Sunday, September 16 at 1:05 PM. The game will be broadcast nationally on FOX, as well as on radio in English on ESPN LA 710 AM and 93.1 Jack FM, and in Spanish on ESPN Deportes 1330 AM.

Fans should be in their seats by 12:35 PM for a special pregame performance, team introductions, the National Anthem, the coin toss and the lighting of the Coliseum Torch.

Top Dawg Entertainment recording artist and LA Native JAY ROCK will help kick off the Rams regular season home opener with a pregame performance live on the field. Hailing from Watts in Los Angeles, California, Jay Rock released his second studio album, 'Redemption,' in June of 2018 and features the single "WIN," featuring Kendrick Lamar and the current single "Tap Out," featuring Jeremih. He's also featured on the two-time Platinum 'Black Panther: The Album," on the lead single "Kings Dead," which features Kendrick Lamar and Future. In 2012, Jay Rock collaborated with Kendrick Lamar on his album "good kid, m.A.A.d city," on the song "Money Trees" leading him to a Grammy nomination for Album of the Year as a featured artist. Jay Rock is set to embark on his headlining 'The Big Redemption' Tour which kicks off September 18th.

Following the on-field pregame performance, singer-songwriter TINASHE will perform the National Anthem. The Multi-Platinum recording artist broke into the R&B/Pop spotlight in 2014 with her double-Platinum hit, "2 On," which landed in the Top 20 on the Billboard Top 200 chart. She has toured the world with Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj and Maroon 5. Tinashe also has an established career in fashion, where she has worked with brands such as Alexander Wang, Ralph Lauren, Calvin Klein and Juicy Couture. She recently released her sophomore album "Joyride", and will be a contestant on this upcoming season's hit show 'Dancing With The Stars'.

The U.S. Army – Los Angeles Recruiting Battalion will present the colors.

The Tiger Squadron will partake in a flyover following the National Anthem.

For the third consecutive year, the Rams will honor Hall of Famers at their regular season home opener. Legends ERIC DICKERSON, ORLANDO PACE, JACKIE SLATER & JACK YOUNGBLOOD will light the Coliseum Torch prior to kickoff. At halftime, all four Hall of Famers will be on-field to support the youth football programs scrimmaging during halftime.
