WOODLAND HILLS, Calif. – The Rams on Wednesday signed tight end Nick Vannett to their active roster off the Vikings' practice squad.

Vannett, 32, had primarily played on special teams in the four games he was active for Minnesota; in that fourth game – Week 9 against the Lions – he saw a season-high 27 offensive snaps.

A 10-year NFL veteran, Vannett has 108 receptions for 1,012 yards and nine touchdowns across 115 career games (54 starts).

He originally entered the NFL as a third-round pick (94th overall) by the Seahawks out of Ohio State in 2016, with stints with the Steelers, Broncos, Saints, Giants and Titans since 2019.

Los Angeles also claimed cornerback Derion Kendrick off waivers from Seattle. Kendrick, who originally entered the league as a sixth-round draft pick by the Rams out of Georgia in 2022, recorded seven total tackles, five passes defensed and two interceptions in 10 games played with the Seahawks this season.
